Jessica is the PERFECT example of a DIY Bride! She made her own wedding cake, her own AHH-MAAZZZINGG macarons AND created her own wedding bouquet and centerpieces. Jessica and Jones ordered florals from Flower Moxie and did a great job arranging florals for the reception decor. Instead of a DJ or band they hired someone to play an accordion during the ceremony and reception. They traveled all the way from Georgia for their intimate Door County wedding at Gordon Lodge in Bailey's Harbor.

The next morning, not really even thinking about the prior night, he had friend requested me on FB. I saw that we both studied mathematics in school so I knew we would click right away. Thomas and I went to Cheesecake Factory for our first date. I was so nervous that I let my cranberry vodka drink pretty much turn into water, the ice melted. From there, everything is history! We did long distance while I finished my senior year of school. Once I graduated from Marquette I got a job in Madison and moved there! We didn't move in together until about a year later, since then it has been wonderful. We have dated for almost 6 years and decided this year was the perfect time to get engaged and then get married!"
Read More"Chris and I met at Camp LuWiSoMo during a winter church retreat in January 2013. While we talked and got to know each other a bit, nothing came of our newfound friendship besides exchanging phone numbers. As the weeks passed, we kept bumping into each other at Calvary Lutheran Church in Madison, WI. This eventually lead to walking to church together, as our apartments in Madison were near by. Our first official date consisted of riding bikes and playing catch at a nearby park. We shared stories, giggles, and our love for being outside. As the dates continued, we also continued sharing our time together outdoors--biking, rollerblading, downhill and cross-country skiing, and eventually camping and hiking. We still love to do these activities together, and have since included more fishing (per Chris), more running (per Emily), and kayaking."

Read More"We both knew that this was something special from the start. He literally loves me unconditionally. He makes me a better person and he is my other half. When Michael proposed, obviously I said yes. Unfortunately, I sort of knew it was coming as I had picked out the ring myself and knew where it was “hidden.” I’d check the hiding spot everyday to see if it was still there or if Michael had moved it for the sake of a proposal. We’d always joked about putting the ring in food as that is something we really bond over (specifically tacos and ice cream) and I suppose I had a hunch that he would actually do it. One day, I was sitting on the couch, watching Netflix when he walked out of the bedroom with a bag of peanut butter M&M’s. As those are my favorite, he poured a few in my hand and out popped the ring! I had to ask if he was serious a few times over and finish chewing as PB M&M’s are high on my priority list. Read MoreIn July I photographed baby Brody, he was only 6 hours old! Heather looked amazing, like always and Kevin was so excited to be a daddy. Fast forward 4 weeks when I photographed Brody's newborn session... it's amazing how fast they grow and change in only one month.
Brody was born at Aurora Hospital in Two Rivers weighing 8lbs 3 oz. He had the biggest hands I've photographed for a newborn. Perfect for football and wrestling ;)
Read MoreBecky and Mike live in Chicago and had their first date at local craft beer bar. They spent hours talking and quickly had a second date. Becky & Mike found that they had a lot in common. They have been together for 3 and 1/2 years and spent most of those years making many trips up to Wisconsin. Door county is one of their favorite places, when they started planning their wedding Becky and Mike knew they wanted a Door county wedding. Mike's family has been going to Door county starting with his grandma when she was a kid. Since meeting Mike, Becky has loved their weekends in Wisconsin and they have shared so many wonderful memories already.

"Dear My Sweetest Love,
I'm sure you will never see this because who honestly looks at the back of a photo in a frame, but that's the point. Today is August 28th 2012. 4 days before you leave to go back to Eau Claire for your Junior year. You're still undecided with what you want to finish in but I know you will choose the right thing either way. I don't know when you will see this... 3 days, 3 years or 30 years but some day you will see this. Maybe on our wedding day.. I know it will come because you are the one for me. They both have seen many of their friends have luck on internet dating websites and both thought they would give it a try....and thank goodness for that because otherwise Carrie and Mike wouldn't be here today. The first date was at a local coffee shop in Libertyville IL and the rest is history. Mike proposed to Carrie on a beautiful overlook in the middle of Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park Colorado on May 26, 2016. The setting couldn't have been more perfect.
