It was important to Megan that she get ready at their new home, farm that they recently purchased. After the ceremony at St. John's Lutheran Church we traveled back to the farm for a cocktail hour. Megan, Jacob and their bridal party arrived by a tractor and wagon. We photographed all the bridal party photos on the property, how special to have your wedding photos taken at your first home. After the bridal party photos it was time for the party! At Twin Fountain's in Manitowoc. 

Becky and Mike live in Chicago and had their first date at local craft beer bar. They spent hours talking and quickly had a second date. Becky & Mike found that they had a lot in common. They have been together for 3 and 1/2  years and spent most of those years making many trips up to Wisconsin. Door county is one of their favorite places, when they started planning their wedding Becky and Mike knew they wanted a Door county wedding. Mike's family has been going  to Door county starting with his grandma when she was a kid. Since meeting Mike, Becky has loved their weekends in Wisconsin and they have shared so many wonderful memories already. 

Michelle and Adam got married at Green Bay Botanical Gardens with a reception at Thornberry Creek Golf Course. 

Tyler and Elizabeth went to high school together but did not becoming interested in each other until a wedding they both stood up in. That wedding happened to be Elizabeth's older brother and Tyler's older sister. A couple years later, they finally realized they were meant to be together and have been happily together since!

Mandy and Steve got married at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Green Bay WI on May 20th. It was important for Steve's family that he get married in his Military Dress Uniform. Mandy and Steve decided to do a first look. It was the perfect idea, right after the first look and few photos it started raining. Then continued raining the rest of the day. Mandy and Steve's first look was one of my favorites! Ladies if you want a true reaction from your fiance when he sees you in your wedding dress for the first time, consider adding a first look into your wedding timeline. 

April 13, 2017 will be a day to remember for our entire lives.  Nick and I were surrounded with many people we love on the beach in Jamaica. It was a warm, sunny, beautiful day. Being destination, many people we loved were unable to attend, which makes having photos to share the story so important.  We were able to spend quality time with everyone who attended throughout the weekand allowed us to really get to celebrate with everyone.  

I met Michelle and Jimmy through a previous Bride and Groom. Jimmy's sister was a bridesmaid in a destination wedding I photographed last year. Actually my previous Bride (Shaina) introduced this beautiful couple to each other. Michelle and Jimmy are so sweet and loving. They have a beautiful little girl Emma who was a big part of their wedding day. I am so happy that I was a part of this wedding and enjoyed every minute! 

In January I photographed my first Winter wedding at Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. Although it felt more like Spring with the amount of fog and melting snow, it was still a beautiful day for a outdoor photos. The fog created a cool background. Dayna from The Flower Gallery in Manitowoc did an amazing job with the florals, like always. I love to photograph her bouquets and reception centerpieces.

Sarah along with Brass Tack events organized a beautiful wedding event. Starting with a welcome dinner at Rudy's BBQ. Lodging and meals at Omni South Park Hotel. Hair and Make Up by Pepper Pastor Bridal. Ceremony at St. Mary's Cathedral Catholic Church in downtown Austin. Reception at Brodie Homestead. Florals by Stems Floral and the most AMAZING cake by Simon Lee Bakery. Melody Events Production kept everyone dancing. I love when couples plan destination weddings, not only do I get travel but I get to watch families and friends come together. I get to watch a Bride and Groom relax for 3 to 5 days reconnecting with those they love and enjoy more then 10 hours celebrating this new step in life. 

Ryan and Marissa have been together over half of their life! They met in pre-kindergarten. In October after 13 years of dating they got married at Holy Family Parish in Brillion WI with a beautiful ceremony at Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake WI. 

Heidi and Tad met when Heidi started working at Tad's restaurant in Fond du Lac. Their wedding day was perfect! The weather was sunny and warm. Their ceremony was beautiful and at an amazing church. The reception venue is one my favorites! Whispering Springs Golf Course is full of natural light, wood floors and white walls. Heidi and Tad planned a Fall wedding full of fall colors and decor. White pumpkins, hay, lanterns, apples and even a caramel apple bar to end the night. 

Katie and Brigham were married October 1st at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour WI with the reception at Brett Favre Steakhouse in Green Bay. We planned to stop at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens but it rained all day so we changed the schedule. After family photos at the Church we stepped outside and photographed the bridal party and Katie + Brigham in front of the beautiful church doors.

Kristin and Stan met in 2003 through mutual friends. Kristin and Stan love to laugh, travel and spend time with family. Their ceremony was at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Sheboygan with their reception at one my favorite wedding venues Osthoff Resort.

Emily did an Ahh-mazing job coordinating her wedding! I called this my "Kate Spade" wedding because colors, details, decor all remind me of Kate Spade designs. Emily wore a beautiful white lace, blush pink tule dress with keyhole open back. She wore Kate Spade dress shoes. Buds N Bloom created gorgeous bouquets for Emily and her Bridesmaids. Nate surprised her with Tiffany's jewelry, a 7 page letter and wine cork sign.
