NorthBrook Country Club and Beverly Gardens Wedding

July 25th I photographed Leah and Andrew's wedding at St John's Lutheran Church in Luxemburg on probably one of the hottest days of the summer! They had a large bridal party 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen on each side, 15 little niece and nephews as flower girls and ring bearers and almost 500 guests at their reception!! Before the ceremony they read a letter that each wrote and Andrew left a little message on the bottom of Leah's shoes! There was a lot of love, food and desserts!!!

As the girls were getting dressed.. Leah's mom, sisters and maid of honor moved around getting her ready. Leah's dad pulled me aside and said " Isn't she one of the prettiest brides you've ever photographed? Her smile lights up a room... It's close to Donald Driver's! I have a photo of them together! I will show you later!" Seriously! This dad was so proud! He even had a surprise for everyone... I will share that later!

After the ceremony we drove to NorthBrook Country Club for their bridal party photos. When you have 22 people to photograph you need a lot of room! We managed to find a little shade on this sunny day for the wedding photos at this door county golf course! One photo that Leah and Andrew really wanted was something from one of their favorite tv shows "How I Met Your Mother" with Andrew wearing a ducky tie and sunglasses while Leah held a yellow umbrella!

Finally we ended our day with dinner, dancing and my favorite... knee cap desserts at Beverly Gardens in Denmark WI!! After dinner we went outside for my favorite part of every wedding!!... Sunset photos!! Seriously there is something at sunset that creates such beautiful photos!! It's a must for every wedding! NOW started the dancing!! Mike from Advanced Entertainment lined the parents at the front of stage to watch their babies dance! After that came the surprise!! Leah's father sang " I Loved Her First"...instant tears! I cry at every wedding and this was that moment! He later told me he practice that song for SIX months!!
