Hannah and Cody met at a sand volleyball league they both played for three years ago. They have since have a yellow lab fur baby Mia. Hannah and Cody got married at Holy Angels Catholic Church and reception at The Watermark at Shully’s. A beautiful venue in Thiensville Wisconsin.

Brad and Rachel met randomly at a Brewer game about 2 and a half years ago. The next day he took her fishing on Lake Michigan. On July 18, 2018 Brad proposed while they were fishing charter on Lake Michigan, where it all began. :)

I cannot believe that Emmett is TWO!! Gahh…. it feels like yesterday that I was taking Travis and Mallerie’s maternity photos.

Things I’ve learned as a family and wedding photographer… 1. No one is happy in the morning, unless it’s the bride. 2. Sometimes kids need to be bribed with candy for smiles. When we scheduled Cecilia’s two year pics for a Saturday at 10am she was not about the camera or model life. So after trying every trick Jesse, Nico, Alivia, Liam and I could think of we stopped the session for a little snack break and tried again. That was exactly what she needed. She was full of the smiles and sass!

Some bunny is turning TWO!!

At the beginning of April I photographed the Reilly family while Dick and Vicky’s children and grandchildren were home for Spring break. I’ve recently had a lot of inquiries for extended family sessions and it makes my heart happy. These type of sessions are so special because I get to document generations of family. I will tell you Grandma’s LOVE having beautiful photos taken with their children and grandchildren.

I was reminded this week at how important it is to schedule a session like this as one my grandmother’s passed away and I don’t have any photos of her with my children.

Baby Eleanor is ONE!!! What a perfect way to document that special milestone with a few cute pics before a cake smash. I also made sure to take photos of Eleanor with the same headband and blanket that we used for her birth photos.

Jessica and Kenny added TWO baby boys to their family in February !! Beckham Alan and Jaxon John. Josie enjoys being a big sister! I love watching this family grow… I’ve photographed their engagement session, wedding, Jessica’s maternity session, Josie’s newborn and first birthday. Now a newborn sessions for these two beautiful boys. When I opened the door for Kenny he said “ Our family gets bigger every time I see you!” … So true!

November 3rd 2018 Pamela and Aaron got married at The Seeboth in downtown Milwaukee Wisconsin. They had family travel from all over the world. It was beautiful, intimate and bilingual ceremony with their closest family and friends. Not only did they have a DJ but they also had a Mariachi Band.

After months of planning a Summer …. then Fall which turned into a Winter engagement session we finally found a date that worked and weather that somewhat cooperated ( it was freezing cold BUT no rain). When planning a Winter engagement session you either need snow on the ground to cover all the dead grass or something big in the background and bold colors in the outfit selection. The Cedarburg Covered Bridge and Danya’s red dress = PERFECTION!!

If you know me, you know that I hate Winter and dread any outdoor sessions after Nov 1st every year. Probably the reason I built a nice indoor studio :) BUT every now and then there’s a day when the temps is above 40 degrees so I sneak outside. Like this family session at High Cliff State Park. Austin jumped out of the vehicle, grabbed his mom and dad’s hands and says to me “ CHEEESSEEEE I’m ready for my picture! “. He made the session so fun and even helped me take couple photos of mom and dad!

Adam and Ashley met at Festival Foods in Green Bay, WI in 2012. She was working at the Service Desk when he came in for his interview. After a while of working together they started calling, texting, and visiting each other. They started dating in January of 2014 and the rest is history! Ashley loves that Adam is always able to make her laugh, even when she doesn’t want to. Adam is Ashley’s anchor that gets her through her toughest storms. They recently got married in Door County Wisconsin at Stone Harbor Resort.

So happy to share the Schwanke family holiday mini session taken in the studio. I can’t wait to hear what baby #3 will be, due in April!

Nick and Amy met in high school and started dating almost ten years ago on November 3rd. He was a year older than Amy and went away to school in Iowa while she stayed locally. They continued dating throughout college and moved in together about two years ago. This past March, they traveled to Colorado with another couple to go skiing. At the end of their first day there Nick wanted to go on the highest ski run in North America. After some convincing, Amy decided to go as well. Once they got to the top, they stopped for photos and that's where Nick got down on one knee. It made for a very fun vacation!!

Hannah & Cody met at a sand volleyball league three years ago. They received got a fur baby Mia and bought a house in West Bend! Now planning their wedding just outside of Milwaukee for Memorial Day weekend 2019!

This is my 3rd or 4th year photographing the Notz family! I absolutely LOVE seeing how the kids change each year and I don’t think Cari and Bennett could get any cuter. #familygoalz My heart needed this family session at the end of a crazy busy wedding session and I’m so thankful we had clear skies and perfect sunset. We end our session with the kids sitting in front of the same barn door like they did at our first session together.
